What is Green Coffee?

Green coffee beans do not go through the roasting process. Thus, it has 3 to 5 times more antioxidants than the traditional version of coffee, being “purer” and very beneficial to our health.
It especially contains chlorogenic acid (a phytochemical) that increases metabolism.

It helps reduce body fat and has twice as much caffeine as compared to traditional roasted coffee.

The benefits attributed to raw coffee are due to the substances that it contains: chlorogenic acid and caffeine. In this way, their main advantages can be highlighted:

Prevention of hypertension: The raw coffee beans have a high concentration of phenolic acids, especially polyphenols, such as chlorogenic acid, which has hypotensive effects.

Weight loss:
 Studies indicate that coffee helps in weight loss, acting on the mobilization and burning of fat, as well as decreasing the storage of fat in cells.

How to consume Raw Coffee as a tea?

Raw Coffee Ground

  • Bring 300ml of water to boil.
  • Add 15g of ground green coffee in a french press or similar.
  • Pour the boiling water and let it stand for 5 minutes.
  • Place in a cup and enjoy!

To vary your pleasures, you can add some mint leaves or a little of ginger during your infusion.

If you like a little sweetness you can add a spoon of honey. Enjoy!
